Job Description

Over the past 2 years, Chariot has grown 1,300% year over year. As we scale from tens of thousands of nonprofits to hundreds of thousands, the questions we need to answer are getting harder, and more consequential. Which segments convert best? What signals predict nonprofits using products most efficiently? How do we move from intuition driven GTM to a data driven growth engine?

That's where this role comes in. Chariot is hiring its first Data Scientist to turn raw data into the models, insights, and automated intelligence that power our next phase of growth. You won't be building dashboards no one looks at. You'll be building predictive models, designing experiments, and deploying AI agents that directly shape how we acquire and retain nonprofit partners. You'll work with senior leadership and the partnerships team to translate business strategy into quantitative frameworks and useful data.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who cares deeply about rigor, clarity, and impact and wants to apply their skills to something that matters. About You

• You have 3+ years of experience in data science, applied ML, or quantitative analytics
• You're fluent in Python and SQL, and comfortable working with data from CRMs, APIs, and third party platforms
• You've designed and analyzed A/B tests or other causal inference frameworks to guide business decisions
• You love LLMs and AI tooling
• You understand the sales funnel and the business logic behind the data you're modeling. You don't just deliver analysis. You deliver recommendations.
• You ship a working v1 today and iterate tomorrow
• You behave like an owner
