Chariot is a payment network for the $234B+ in Donor Advised Fund accounts. Our mission is to bridge the gap between givers & causes with new pathways for charitable giving.

We are currently backed by Y Combinator, Spark Capital, SV Angel, CRV, Teamworthy Ventures, and top-tier angel investors like Mike Massaro, Adam Grant, and Angela Duckworth. The founders of Chariot graduated CS from the University of Pennsylvania and Dartmouth College with previous work experience at Blackrock, Bain & Co., and Forage (YC21).

Company Overview

Chariot is a mission-driven organization aiming to get more dollars into the hands of nonprofits around the world. Our product is a payment network that enables nonprofits to easily accept donations from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs).

<aside> 🏦 DAFs (or Donor Advised Funds) are basically 401ks for charity where you get immediate tax deductions for contributing - DAFs currently hold $234B in charitable assets and are the fastest growing vehicle in philanthropy (40% YoY growth).

The problem: The process of paying with DAFs is tedious. Millions of DAF users are stuck behind archaic login portals, emails, or even phone calls to make a donation.

🤔 Imagine when ordering a pair of Nike's - you had to do a wire transfer, find the sneaker model, Nike's Tax ID etc. Nike sales would be way down, with a lot of abandoned carts. That's the process for donating from DAFs right now, estimated to leave $395B in unrealized donations in the next decade.

Job Description

We’re looking for Partnerships Growth to further scale our partnership work as a critical channel that fuels Chariot’s growth. Your time will be spent working closely with both nonprofits, fundraising platforms, and DAFs. You’ll help set the goals and overall strategy for our B2B growth with our executive team, and build out the key resources and workflows needed for success across marketing, customer success, and partnership divisions of Chariot. You’ll work cross-functionally with our Product, Sales, and Operations leaders to further define new products and offerings that are compelling to new potential partners.
